Stromboli 38 Mountain

The Stromboli 38 Mountain is an exceptional paraglider specifically designed for enthusiastic adventure tandem pilots. The famous ease of use and the handling that have built the reputation of the old Stromboli are still present. The structure of the wing absorbs turbulence and increase the comfort in flight. Inflation and take-off are very easy even in difficult conditions (snow, tail wind etc.) and the lightest of breeze will bring the the Stromboli 38 Mountain above your head. Made of the new high tech ultra light (NCV 22 dtx, high tenacity polyamide) cloth, the Stromboli 38 Mountain has been designed to last. Each part under stress has been dimensioned using our 10 year experience in lightweight paraglider design. The innovative spreader-riser system is made of lightweight, high strength dyneema and saves 10 maillions.

The savings in weight and volume do not affect the reliability and the structural strength:

• standard cloth (NCV 9092 45g /m2) for the parts under mechanical stress such as the leading edge and the cell walls with line attachment.
• line to glider link through load spreader tabs.
• oversized lines.
• reinforced ribs.

The Stromboli 38 Mountain tandem paraglider is shipped with a 110 litre bivouac bag.

Even though the Stromboli 38 Mountain is derived from an approved tandem paraglider, it is not planned to have it certified. Considering the specificity of the paraglider a rigorous maintenance and control every 100 hours is compulsory.
